oth.get_original_thread

function oth.get_original_thread(): thread

Example

This example hooks game.GetService(game, ...) and returns an infinite yield for any calls made from scripts in nilinstances to fully bypass some anti-cheats that rely on game.GetService on startup.

oth.hook(game.GetService, function(...)
    local thread = oth.get_original_thread()
    local script = getscriptfromthread(thread)

    if script and script.Parent == nil then
        return task.wait(9e9)
    end

    return oth.get_root_callback()(...)
end)
